FL Studio is a digital audio workstation created by Image-Line. It is available in three different editions: Fruity Edition, Producer Edition and Signature Bundle.

Image-Line offers lifetime free updates to FL Studio, which means users receive all future updates for free.

FL Studio can also be used as a VST instrument in other audio workstation programs and also functions as ReWire client.

FL Studio supports time stretching/pitch shifting, beat slicing, chopping, and editing of audio. 64 simultaneous audio tracks can be recorded. Other key features include a digital piano roll.  Audio can be imported or exported as WAV, MP3, OGG, MIDI, ZIP, or the native project format with .flp

Projects saved in demo mode can only be opened completely once all the plugins in the project have been registered. Presets for DEMO plugins can not be saved.
